MY STORY
A little about me...
I grew up a competitive swimmer as the oldest of four boys. Ever since a very young age, I have always had a passion for the beauty of cinema. That passion grew in me to the point where I realized it was what I wanted to do with my life. I am enrolled in my 4th year as a student at Western University for an honours specialization in film studies degree and hope to continue to grow and learn from experiences related to video production.
This past year at Western, I was the videographer and content creator for the Spur Fashion Show, a charity social club at Western University where all proceeds are donated to charity (this year's show raised $20, 000, which went to the 519Pursuit nonprofit organization). The work, along with the fantastic people behind the show, allowed me to have the freedom to be able to create a collection of different videos, one of which was awarded the second-place prize at the Western Undergraduate Film Festival.
I have just received my work permit through the IATSE union to work on sets under the grip department. My goal is to work in the film industry, creating engaging and thought-provoking content through innovative cinematography, entertaining and relatable stories, hard work, and continued learning and development. My passion is cameras and lighting, and I also enjoy frequently editing with DaVinci Resolve 18 and Adobe After Effects.
